Read the bio →David Urban is a Senior Advisor to CNQ Global Advisors, a global geopolitical and strategic advisory firm chaired by former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
Mr. Urban brings more than 30 years of experience and deep connections across the law, politics, public policy, corporate governance, and the media. In addition to his role at CNQ Global Advisors, Mr. Urban serves as Managing Director at the BGR Group, of counsel at Torridon Law, an Operating Partner at Smash Capital, and a Senior Political Commentator on CNN.
He serves on the boards of directors of the publicly traded companies Virtu Financial (NYSE: VIRT), SAIC (NASDAQ: SAIC), and Eos Energy Enterprises (NASDAQ: EOSE), as well as the private company SubCom. Urban also serves on the boards of the nonprofit Edward M. Kennedy Institute for the United States Senate, the Johnny Mac Soldiers Fund, and the International Republican Institute.
Mr. Urban was appointed by the President as the 10th Chairman of the American Battle Monuments Commission and the Board of Visitors at The United States Military Academy at West Point.
He is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, The Fels Institute of Government at the University of Pennsylvania, and The Temple University School of Law.
